what’s involved with an appraisal?
The first step of the appraisal process is for you to show Abbie and Julie through the property you are considering listing for sale. We invite you to point out main features and benefits, and any additions or improvements you have made to the property. This property walkthrough usually takes around 20 minutes. Abbie and Julie will then go away and carry out research on relevant comparable sales in the area and assess your property against each of these recent sales. A day or two after the walkthrough, Abbie and Julie will meet with you again to present their formal written appraisal which will provide you with an estimated current market value for the property. This should be presented to all property owners in a face to face manner. We encourage you to ask any and all questions about the process and what to expect.
